Brake Linings
To aid you in choosing the correct brake pads for your needs, here are some tips in making the correct choice:

If you need new brake pucks for your Lamb Struts, you will need one of two types of pucks:
  1. If you have struts manufactured from 1989 to present, they will have the number "625" directly beneath the Lamb logo on the outside (or anvil) half of your Lamb strut caliper. They should also have a silver logo sticker on them indicating the strut serial numbers. In this case, you should order part #707-625 pucks. This will give you (4) pucks….enough to replace all the pucks in both strut calipers.

  2. If your struts were manufactured before 1989, they won’t have the serial number stickers on them, nor will there be anything engraved on the outer half of your strut calipers other than the Lamb logo. In this case, you should order #707-150 pucks. (This will give you a set of four pucks….enough to replace all the pucks in both strut calipers.)

Carbon Brake Rotor and Pad Specification Sheet.-Download

Please note: you will probably use approximately 2 set of pads per set of rotors. It is important to monitor the thickness of both the pads and rotors. When either of them goes below .350" in thickness, it is time to replace them. We will resurface your carbon rotors at no charge at the time you are replacing the pads only (rotors must still be within usable tolerance and not damaged in any other way). Inaccurate resurfacing of the rotors will result in uncontrolled braking and rotor failure! Rotor runout to the rotor mounting surface must be within .002 and rotor parallelism must be within .0008. This procedure requires special equipment and experience and cannot be accomplished by use of normal brake or clutch resurfacing equipment!

#888A Lamb 2-lb. Residual pressure valve (including fittings)
If you have ever had the experience of having the brake pedal drop when the car sat for for extended periods of time between rounds, you probably need a 2-pound residual pressure valve. The valve should be installed after the master cylinder, but before the brake lines tee off to the two rear brake lines. Included are (1) #888 residual pressure valve, (2) #1056 – 1/8 to #3 straight fittings, (2) #1030 – 3/16 three piece nuts and (2) #1032 – 3/16 three piece nuts.
$42.29 per assembly
#892 1/4-28 bleed screw adapter assembly (890 & 891)
Included are (1) 1/4-28 bleed screw as well as (1) 1/8 threaded stainless steel pipe plug. We use these on our strut calipers as well as all four-piston calipers.
$5.95 per assembly
If you need one part or the other separately, they are as follows:
#890  1/4-28 bleed screw
$1.14
#891  1/8 threaded pipe plug (stainless steel)
$4.81
Rotors
#1300  Lamb strut rotor/hat assembly
This includes (1) billet rotor adapter, (1) cast #1300A rotor and all necessary attaching hardware. You may only need this complete rotor assembly if you are updating from very old one-piece rotors (early 1980’s style) and need both parts.
$245.00 each
#1300-1  Lamb lightweight 10" strut rotor assembly
Includes new (1) billet rotor adator, (1) special #1300S rotor, Titanium attachment plates, and all necessary bolts & nuts
$260.00 each
#1300A  Lamb strut rotor (only) (fits puck-style strut brake system - 9.5" dia.)
Includes new hardware and torque spec noted on paperwork
$124.00 each

#1301B  Lamb 11-1/2" Carbon/Carbon rotor (only) - each
Hardware is extra for rotor, but many times some of your old hardware is reusable. If you send us your old rotors, we will be happy to press out the old inserts and reuse them (in most cases) in the new rotors; this way, you will only have to replace the bolts and nuts. (They should be replaced each time you replace the rotors, due to excessive heat.)
$995.00 each
#2325D 3/8" drive torque bit tool w/ socket (for use in replacing rotor hardware used on #1301B Carbon rotor)
$15.00 each
#2327 Torx bit w/ extension (for use in replacing #1301 rotor)
$24.00 each
Caliper Pistons
You should never have to replace one of these unless you wear the puck completely out in your Lamb strut caliper, and go into the piston area. If this occurs, you will probably also need a new #1300A rotor.
#1705  Lamb 1-3/4" Hard-coated piston for Lamb strut caliper
$14.00 each
#1734  Lamb 1-1/2" Hard-coated piston for Lamb #1601 caliper
