All Lamb standard rear disc brake systems include billet calipers, specifically designed rotors for the application, billet rotor adapters, specially ground 7075-T6 brackets and disc brake pads. All Lamb heavy-duty front disc brake systems include billet calipers, cast rotors, billet rotor adapters, billet hubs, bearings, studs, specially ground brackets and disc brake pads.
Please be aware that all rear brake systems come with 4-3/4” & 5” bolt circles on the rotor adapters. If you need 4-1/2” bolt circle, you must bring it to our attention, as they are “specials.” We usually stock them, but if not, we will do our best to provide them as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE: Some front disc brake systems require spindle modification prior to disc brake installation. These applications are noted with an asterisk in the list below. The spindles you intend to use in these systems must be sent to us prior to our shipping your front disc brake order. FOR A charge of $75.00 - $150 EACH DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH LABOR IS INVOLVED, we will modify your spindles to accept the new calipers and brackets, assemble the disc brakes on each spindle, and ship them completely assembled to you. If your spindles are damaged or corroded beyond safe use, we can provide you with new ones for most applications for a modest fee.
All brake kits are available in HD, Retro, and Lightweight versions.
HD is the original design and still the benchmark. The HD kit utilizes the #1602 caliper with the HD 11.5 rotor.
The Retro kit is the combination of the HD and Lightweight versions. The retro kit utilizes the #1602 caliper with the lightened rotor.
The Retro kit is the new standard for most applications.
The Lightweight kit is specifically for lightweight dragsters running less than 175mph, which utilizes the #1608 caliper with the lightened rotor.
